You had to be paying close attention to notice it, but Tiger Woods was publicly snubbed last week. Not for the first time either. In what has become almost an annual event, the Vardon Trophy that should be awarded to the man atop the European Tour money-list was handed not to Woods, but to someone else. This apparent anomaly is easily explained, of course. To be eligible for inclusion on the Order of Merit, a player must compete in at least 11 tournaments, an arbitrary figure that Woods has yet to achieve. Such is his dominance that his '06 winnings from only ten appearances amounted to more than double Harrington's Vardon-winning total.

when u play golf like Tiger and myself, u dont need to participate in all the tourneys to win the hardware...lol

I believe Tiger will continue to be snubbed until this man realizes he is just that ... another man albeit perhaps the best golfer that we have seen. I have heard nothing but negative comments from some who have met him. He strides around as is he is some god and I wonder if he has any personality at all. If I had the choice of a game of golf with him or with John Daly, Tiger Woods wouldn't get a look in. His golf is superb but I do wonder if that is all there is to the man.
