10:07 AM ET 03.03 | Fan-favorite MMA veteran Chris "Lights Out" Lytle lost to the crafty, arrow-chested Brian Ebersole last weekend on the main card of UFC 127 in what would have been the biggest upset on the card had Dennis Siver not toppled George Sotiropoulos. At 36-years old and a veteran of over fifty fights, Lytle may take the injury and the loss as a sign that his time has come to exit the sport, though he has not yet made up his mind either way. "He's considering his options, and retirement is one of them," said manager Ken Pavia.

He was a great ambassador for the sport...fought hard every time out. If he does retire, wish him the best. I know right around mid-30's is when the soreness doesn't go away as quickly.
