06:54 AM ET 03.04 | The Browns signed quarterback Seneca Wallace to a three-year deal Thursday night, a league source said. Wallace, a ninth-year pro, is well-versed in the West Coast offense being installed by new coach Pat Shurmur. Wallace said last week he wanted a chance to start somewhere, but he'll begin as a backup here to Colt McCoy. The Browns have also said they wouldn't rule out having Jake Delhomme back, but he's set to make $5.4 million in 2011.

Let Delhomme go, save the money.

Was he ever "in" Cleveland?

March 4, 2011  07:46 AM ET

$5.4 million? That comes out to about $250,000 per turnover. A bargain if you ask me.

Send him the niners. He is an ungrade over Alex Smith.

Give the damn ball to McCoy and let him learn.

Cleveland? Delhomme? No wonder the spammers are more interested in this thread than the rest of us.

This is Colt's team now. No sense in keeping Jake around.

Spend that cash on someone for Colt to throw the ball to and someone to keep Colt upright.

He gone

Delhomme showed the last year and a half he was in Carolina his career was over. I'm not sure he'd even make a decent #2 at this point.

What do Jake Delhomme and Ben E King have in common you ask?

One hit wonders.
