08:14 AM ET 03.05 | Highly recruited Aledo running back Johnathan Gray has narrowed his list of colleges to three.
Gray told VYPE DFW he is now only considering offers from TCU, Texas and Texas A&M -- in no particular order.
The two schools Gray cut from his list were somewhat surprising.
FJJ, you guys have tons of talent in DFW. Quit hogging it.
I watched the 4A Region 1 tournament here last night with teams from Denton Ryan, The Colony, FW Arlington Heights, and FW Trimble Tech. There is enough talent on just those four teams for two D1 college teams...and some of them will be playing college football or pro baseball next year instead of hoops!
Eenie, Meanie, Meiny, Mo....Just out of curiosity, does TCU have their students sign and adhere to an honor code like BYU?
Not that I know of...they have a few "issues" going on now from past actions by some athletes...and from the nature of those, I am assuming they do not have one...at least as strict as what BYU does.
No. TCU has an unwritten honor code that goes something like this ...... never get caught driving a domestic car.... always wear Prada... double your money by looking in the mirrorQ: How many TCU coeds does it take to change a tire?A: Two - one to hold the drinks and the other to call daddy.
Very accurate description. Most students at TCU have $$$$$$$$

I am guessing you think, to paraphrase Dorothy Parker, if all the girls at TCU were laid end-to-end, you wouldn't be surprised.
Tough choice...playing time at TAMU, but you have to put up with male cheerleaders, that dam! cult-like chanting, and the whole sheep issue. Texas w/ the babes and 6th street would be the easist choice, but you better be sure of your ability or you may never see the field. TCU.....forget it! Atmosphere isn't the same and that whole Big East, cold weather, long flights thing.....yuck.

Oh, and this is Region 1 4A, not Region 2 4A nor Region 1 & 2 5A! Most of the Dallas (and suburb) schools are in Region 2!

Thanks Default. I figured as much but wasn't sure. I think the only reason the Red Faders were in the mix is because that is where his dad played.

Only because the ventilation is better in Oregon's locker rooms! Don't think the family needs the payola from the Ducks or Aubie.
