And now the Met Fans in NY will call into WFAN and have something else to cry about...

Forget the fact that alot of the players mentioned are hurt, coming off injury or just flat not that good... Now the fans can play victims to Madoff and blame the Wilpon's for ruining their summer...

I see the logic in shopping all of those guys except Wright.

They would get absolutely nothing in return for Perez, unless of course they offered to pay his entire salary thats left and were willing to take on another guy making more than he's worth... in other words the only option they got is to release Perez, no shopping available.

When your the Mets pretty much everyone is expendable.

Why would any team want to take these over priced losers off the Met's books? The only guy they might get something for is Wright.

I'm so afraid of this coming true it is ridiculous. It might have the reverse effect though and actually brings fans TO the ballpark, unlike in Pitt.

Rebuilding and dumping players who are not your future is how you are supposed to do business. If you can not afford to sign a Jose Reyes then get the **** out! NOW!
