08:08 AM ET 03.07 | Mark Cuban and Charlie Sheen may become business partners. Cuban confirmed Sunday evening that he's had several conversations with Sheen recently about developing programming for HDNet, the cable network Cuban owns. "You've got somebody that everybody has a whole lot of interest in who's doing some interesting things, to say the least, and we always look for interesting programming by featuring interesting people doing interesting things," Cuban said before the Mavericks' game against the Memphis Grizzlies. "I reached out and we've had some conversations, and we're going to work on doing some things."

Cuban will stoop to any level to make $$$$. Sheen(ing) needs an intervention, not a freaking tv gig.

Agree completely. Using someone's downward spiral for entertainment value is more than a little disgusting.

True, Sheen needs help not exploitation.
But hey - he's not doing dr*gs anymore. Becasue he woke up one day and just said NO. It's that easy boys and girls.

wtf are you guys even talking about.. An intervention for Sheen? For what? For being wierd? By all accounts he's off drugs. And suddenly people are saying he needs help when you see his TRUE personality? Last time I checked people are free to be themselves. And Cuban is a shrewd business man. Its not exploitation if both sides are "winning".

And this has nothing to do with basketball. I think the interns need a talking to.

This could be the dumbest thing I've ever heard.....sounds like a Two and Half Men Remake....with Cuban being the half man this time.

Agreed.....if people are going to keep promoting and encouraging his lifestyle, then Charlie Sheen is going to be dead with in the next 5-10 years.....all for what? a couple of million of dollars? sex with beautiful women? fast cars? fame?....actually, sounds like a pretty good way to live out the rest of your life to me! hahaha

Charlie Sheen has always lived this way he just didn't have a syndicated sitcom early in his career to be in a spotlight situation.

If you believe he is off of drugs then you are kidding yourself.

I didn't say I believe he is, but he was given a drug test when he did one of those interviews, so you can't blame his wierd behavior on drugs. And not everyone who acts different/weird is under the influence.

Yes there are drugs that don't show up on standard drug tests, like alcohol.
Besides alcohol is one of the worst drugs mankind has ever seen, and ALOT of people use that. How bout we get all dem people an intervention.

March 7, 2011  11:19 AM ET

the interest in sheen is going to be short lived..... the guy is doing more damage to himself than good. and can't see why cuban - a guy worth 2.5B would be interested in this. HDNET is very limited. you can get with a dish or if you have premium pay cable service - which most don't. sheen is getting more press now than if he went w/ HDNET. but again, this is getting old, quickly and pretty soon sheen will no longer be interesting.... he's a nut case and his career is looking shady at best.

I do love how some people who are so against "drugs" get hammered off of alcohol on a regular basis

The better trick would be Mark Cuban getting more than say 20 people to be able to find HD Net on their channel guides.

I've been hearing about this mythical HD Net for years and I'll be darned if I can find it.
