08:14 AM ET 03.08 | Nearing his 36th birthday, Scott Rolen will likely be leaning on the line between hurt and injured in 2011, just as he did in 2010 when an outstanding first half helped propel the Reds. By the time his body started failing him -- Rolen hit 17 homers before the All Star Break and three after -- his example had been set clearly enough, his mere presence was sufficient to keep the train rolling. ... Joey Votto was Cincinnati's most valuable player; Rolen was its most important. Only now, the wonder is how much a 36-year-old Rolen can give the Reds. Dusty Baker has suggested 120 games. Quietly, the club is thinking 120 could be optimistic. Juan Francisco is definitely on speed dial.

First.

Since 2005 he has averaged 114 games in a season.

120 would be above that average, so it would be optimistic.

Baseball Prospectus is predicting an 81-81 third place finish for the Reds this year.

Why is Votto pictured in a Rolen story????

I see - Votto was mentioned as MVP!
