Labor peace may be best news for Tebow

08:03 AM ET 03.09 | An early labor agreement may grease the wheels on the Tim Tebow era dawning in earnest. An agreement by, say, March 18 would give Broncos coach John Fox and his staff enough time to work with Tebow during the offseason and gain enough confidence in going forward with him. And if the Broncos do determine Tebow is their starting quarterback, I believe Kyle Orton will be traded. John Elway and Fox have been saying Orton is their starting QB if a game were to be played today. I have often followed these statements by reminding readers there is no game today. I believe there is only one scenario where Orton is the Broncos' starting QB in Game 1 of the 2011 season: negotiations break down in the next week or two, an extended lockout occurs, and a labor settlement isn't reached until well after training camp was scheduled to begin.

Whew, I'm glad he reminded me there's no game today. I was just about to blow a lot of money on gratuitious guacamole. Saved!

Relax, Fat Tuesday was yesterday, so Easter can't be far behind. Tim Tebow will roll away the stone, and the Angel of the Lord will deliver unto us a new CBA.

Did anyone notice that the most popular thread on Fat Tuesday had Rex Ryan's picture on it? Most appropriate, don't ya think?

Very appropriate.

Labor peace would be the best news.......FOR THE NFL!

Everyone keeps saying that the Cardinals best hope is Kyle Orton, that with a QB of his level on board, they could win the NFC West and possibly push for the SB. Denver is going nowhere and everyone says that Kyle Orton isn't good enough to keep his job.

Sucks to be Kyle. He's never good enough to be the starter for the team he actually plays for.

Get a new pic of Tebow already. We see this one 2-3 times per week!

God im so sick of Tebow....im about to start lobbying him to start because the sooner he plays the sooner everyone can see how horrible he is as an NFL quarterback and he can fade into the night...TEBOW BLOWS!

Fix the offensive line, then you can go with Orton (who can pass) and give the "mobile" Tebow a chance to develop his "moderate" passing skills so he has a chance to be more than a flash in the pan.
