Comeback gives Pierce new chance to rip Barber

08:01 AM ET 03.09 | A few weeks ago, Tiki Barber was in spin classes, and not a few hours into an improbable comeback he's already taking heat from Antonio Pierce. Not surprisingly, the former Giants linebacker came out swinging at Barber Tuesday, a few hours after the stunning news that Barber is planning to come out of retirement. Pierce has long been critical of Barber both for being a disruption during the Giants' 2006 season and for being critical of Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin after Barber turned to broadcasting the following year. Pierce, speaking on ESPN's NFL Live, said Barber could be "very productive" in his NFL return, but probably not a very good locker room presence. ... "Tiki Barber the person, the leader, the person in that locker room? He's not going to do anything for your team."

Tiki is very hated right now so putting the pads on won't change any of that

Tiki is fast and lethal to the body of the team, just like any other cancer.

Maybe he learned something sitting in the studio. There are some teams with a glaring need at RB.

Leader - I think not.

Cancer - most definitely.

The Daily News is thinking small. It's not just Pierce ... this gives us ALL a new chance to rip Tiki! Yay!!!

This is all about Tiki's need for money. His ex-wife cleaned him out in his divorce settlement and no one will give him a job.

Personally, I hope no team offers him even a sniff of a practice squad contract.

Tiki is discovering that Karma can indeed be a ****.

See...he did learn something. He learned what his balance in his checking account is. Another example of "shrinkage".

Wow, I haven't been posting on FN long enough to ever have had the chance to rip this douchewad. I'm a little emotional right now...

Let it all out... it's not quite like the Favre and JaMarcus Russell threads, but it's good enough.

We need a retirement rule.

Why is a Tom Coughlin pic with this story?

Please don't use the F-word. Especially on a thread about unretiring. My poor hungover stomach can only take so much.

Word... Barber is a bumb.

More like 'wealth distribution'...

I like to think ***** learned his lesson already. Tiki will learn his one way or the other this season. I can't see him lasting more than one more NFL season (there's always the CFL or the UFL). At least Tiki's smart enough to not try blaming others for his own stupidity.

I recommend saltines and Sprite for the sour stomach.

The intern could not distinguish Tiki from Ronde, nor Antonio from Paul.

In the first 3 threads I have seen today, only Tebow's picture fits with the thread.

And to top that off, the interns are pulling stories from ESPN.com, too.
