"I dreamed about it one night and thought it would be a great book," Sampson said. "It's about this guy who is extremely talented, does all the right things, is an NBA star, but then gets away from his grounding and faith and starts losing everything in his life. "In the end, he realizes what he had and what he lost, accepts it, then commits himself to getting back to the way he was growing up."
