08:06 AM ET 03.14 | New playbooks will be harder to ingest these days, but perhaps especially so for Rob Ryan's players in Dallas. As mentioned in a Dallas Morning News article, Ryan's defense is known for its complexities. ... But according to inside linebacker Sean Lee, many Cowboys players attempted to learn as much as they could about Ryan's system before the restrictions imposed during the lockout went into effect. In fact, several returned to Valley Ranch in February to meet with Ryan, knowing that they would soon be barred from the practice facility. "At some point," Lee said, "most everybody was in there. They were making sure they had all the information they could get to take with them into the offseason. I thought we did a really good job preparing for this. I don't think we're going to lose a step because of that."

It would be very difficult for the defense to be any more out of step than they were last season.

The only cramming in the Ryan family is cupcakes and feet.

You mean he wasn't. Al Davis could be up for that role also.

There was one of those Mummy movies on over the weekend. Hundreds of them. I think most of them were computer-generated copies of Jerry and Al. And Ralph. Don't forget Ralph.
On second thought, maybe we could all forget Ralph.

I guess they never considered making the playbook into a PDF file, and then emailing it to each other's hotmail addresses.

I'm surprised they haven't posted it on Facebook, or Twitted each other about it.

Physical and electronic security were reasons previously given - though xeroxing apparently is not a threat (maybe something in their contract)

Hard to say which is more sickening - Jerry, Rex or the Spam.
