Bengals could pitch picks for Kolb

08:00 AM ET 03.15 | Mike Brown remains disinterested in trading Carson Palmer despite continued reports the QB would retire unless he's traded, an option complicated by the lockout. When discussing trades (whenever they are allowed to commence) it becomes an interesting situation if it happens after the draft. If you try to move Palmer for picks those would be for the 2012 draft. In the case of the Bengals, if you traded Palmer and got a pick in the 2012 draft and wanted to then make a deal with another team for a quarterback (say Philadelphia's Kevin Kolb since he is the one that most are interested in) do you trade the pick you just acquired or your own? Keep in mind with your own, if the Bengals are awful again in 2011 they could be in the Andrew Luck derby.

Kolb to star in adult video?

Why not they have doing everything else. Maybe he will be a lion tamer.

With this labor situation, Palmer might not be the only QB retiring before his time without playing another game.

Some one was right a couple of days ago that these threads will be _______(insert team) interested in_______(insert QB)

How about a FN mod?

I heard from a good source he was going to be a bouncer at a strip club in Philly.

It all depends on the new CBA. If you cannot tag him, and his contract is up in a year, then you do not trade for him. It is about his contract.

As long as Pacman doesn't start hanging around at that club. If he did, Kolb would demand combat pay.

Kolb, the new Favre. Obviously nobody reads what gets posted on these sites, because if they did, they would know that some very astute fans have already provided the best analysis of the Kolb situation: he is a needed backup for oft-injured Vick, his contract is pretty much a bargain for Philly, he's not good enough to command what Philly would ask for him in return, so he's not going anywhere this year.

We can all just copy/paste that as our answer to every NFL thread for the foreseeable future.

Kolb really worth a 1st? I think it is still a gamble.

He plays one game and gets a concussion. Greeting can be tough. Not sure they would hire him.
