Would Yanks trade for King Felix?

08:14 AM ET 03.15 | Would Brian Cashman swing a five-for-one deal with Jack Zduriencik for Felix Hernandez? The five could include Jesus Montero, who last summer was the centerpiece of the Yankees' offer to the M's for left-hander Cliff Lee ... Left-hander Manny Banuelos or right-hander Dellin Betances, either of whom eventually could replace Hernandez as the Mariners' ace ... Right-hander Ivan Nova, who could slot immediately into the major league rotation ... And two others from the Yankees' talent-rich grab bag. Maybe right-hander Hector Noesi. Maybe infielder Eduardo Nunez. Maybe second baseman David Adams, whose right-ankle injury helped torpedo the Yankees' attempt to acquire Lee from Seattle last June. Five for one. As rich a 5-for-1 as Zduriencik can imagine without being ridiculous.

Throw in CC, Cano, and the chick with the large ... hands in the 4th row and we'll start talking.

Why are all these threads regarding the potential trade of King Felix just about the Yankees. There are at least 10 other teams in MLB who would be more than willing to take on a 4 year $68M contract for the best pitcher in the game. And most of them could put together a package just as appealing as New York.

Why should they disallow?. This gives the Mariners loads of young talent and gives the yankees a start pitcher they've been looking for.

Seattle should be looking for a king's ransom to even consider trading Hernandez...
... other than breaking the bank, keep him in the NW.

I've stated quite a few times...
... any deal for Hernandez should entail Hughes, Cano, and a highly regarded prospect.
At least, from Seattle's perspective.

Not going to happen. Banuelos and Montero are the only really good prospects here. Nova and Nunez are a bit over rated since they are from NY system.

Funny lol...
... but I LOVE my mother in law:)
As for the Felix trade, Seattle should demand top notch players in return or no deal.

Actually, I hate the Yankees, but I don't see where it is MLBs place to tell the Mariners how or how not to try to make their club better.

Cano.
That's funny. Still on the binge, I see.

New York would actually be quite smart to perhaps develop these guys and try to get another core together like they produced in the mid 90's.

Actually, yes. Why should the Mariners trade the best pitcher in the game for 5 prospects, who may or may not be good. Mariners GM should tell Cashman, send us Banuelos and Cano and you can have King Felix. Cash should stop calling after that.
