09:10 AM ET 03.20 | Larry Brown, 70, is interested in a return to the college ranks. "I was a college coach and did OK," Brown told Yahoo! Sports on Saturday. "I was a pro coach and did reasonably well. He has spent time with a number of friends or former proteges in the college game - including Kansas' Bill Self, Kentucky's John Calipari and Villanova's Jay Wright. Brown said they keep encouraging him to consider a return to the college ranks. is name was linked to the open position at Arkansas by the Web site SportsbyBrooks.com, but Brown says he hasn't spoken to anyone in Fayetteville or any other campus. He's willing to, though.

Well of course you do. You watched him play AAU ball as a kid.

Hahahahahahahahahaha...and they used peach baskets!

He should go to the Big East to coach. Clearly they are overrated given their performance in the dance.

Yep, they are dropping like flies....11 teams...give me a break!

The selection committee not only screwed up the selections but the seeding as well.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that teams like Va Tech, Colorado, Saint Mary's would have performed just as well or better.

Actually, you are not too far off as I watched him play college ball at North Carolina. :-)

Big East basketball love = SEC football love.I think you are correct. This was one year you can say a number of teams got a scrue job.

Who? What teams did not get in that deserved it?

I was waiting for someone to defend the Big East.

50 year, I am assuming you believe they did deserve 11 slots?

QUOTE(#22):

There was way too many Big Least teams make the tourney, 11, come on now. That is ridiculous. The first two in the Sweet 16 were two SEC teams. Of course, the way it should be.

I think several conferences, including the SEC, were underrated just as much as the Big East was overrated!

Traditionally, ACC basketball = SEC football...
