Essentially that's what happened last week when the Avenging Agent conducted a look-see tryout for his last remaining free agent, righthander Kevin Millwood, at UC Irvine and only the Yankees' scouts showed up. And they weren't impressed. According to sources, Millwood looked out of shape and barely topped 86 mph on the gun.

Sounds to me like Scott overplayed his hand and screwed his client over. Based on the article above the Yankee's previous offer was too high and Borass should of told him to take it and run.
