Wake to sign Prosser's recruits
The recruiting class that could restore Wake Forest to national basketball prominence can sign beginning today. A few weeks before his sudden death in July, Wake Forest coach Skip Prosser put the finishing touches on one of the nation's top classes with the commitments of 6-foot-8 Al-Farouq Aminu of Norcross, Ga., and 6-10 Tony Woods of Rome, Ga. North Carolina's top prospect, 7-0 Ty Walker of New Hanover High in Wilmington, also is committed to the Deacons. All three are rated in the national top 50 by scout.com.

Good for them for honoring their commitments. Despite the circumstances, they could have changed their minds.

Congratulations also to Dino Gaudio. Those kids didn't just commit for the sake of honoring a commitment; no one could blame them if they had gone to another school. Obviously they think Gaudio has the program headed in the right direction.

No better way to honor Prosser than to keep playing. He was a classy guy and a great coach. He did Wake and the ACC proud. This Duke fan will miss seeing him on the opposing bench.
