08:12 AM ET 03.23 | Larry Brown is back in the news, and he's taking Allen Iverson with him. If anyone knows the polarizing Iverson it would be Brown, who coached "The Answer" from 1997-2003. Brown would like to see Iverson finish his career in the NBA and hopes one team will provide one last opportunity for the guard to finish his career the right way after failing to make anything out of his stint in Turkey. ... "Before I got fired I went to the NBA coaches' meeting ... a lot of the NBA people, the executives that were there, talked to me about trying to figure out a way to get Allen to finish out his career in our league. He wanted to come with me [Allen Iverson], but Michael [Jordan] didn't think it the right thing to do because we had young guards and he wanted them to develop. I think for him to end his career in Turkey after what he did for our league is tragic."

Ai, messed himself up with the NBA. Dude's head is not in the game right now. Send AI to the D league, he can finish his career there.

MJ made the right decision - developing the teams younger players vs. wasting a roster spot for AI was the right call.

Why corrupt the young and upcoming players actually trying to LEARN the game though...

Well they arent the next big stars but they can be nice role players somewhere..NOt superstars by any means....Hey did you see Earl Barron is available?

Larry B. knew that AI would put butts in seats in the TWC arena. If you ever watch a Bobcats game, there are a lot of empties around the arena. AI will get a call up by a playoff contender soon.

People may say what they want about AI but he was a great player in his day.......was one of the most exciting players to ever play and I believe if it wasnt for his injury riddled body he still had something left. That said dude was a complete ball hog. lol
