08:07 AM ET 03.24 | Have the Hawks tuned out Larry Drew? This is why you don't promote the nice-guy assistant. Because the players who've known him only as the nice-guy assistant will quit on him. And if you think the Hawks are still playing hard for Larry Drew, how are we to explain the misdoings of the past three weeks? The Hawks have lost six home games in 18 days. ... Average margin of the six losses -- 17.2 points. On Friday they trailed Miami by 29 points after three quarters. On Saturday Al Horford convened a players-only meeting, which apparently enabled the Hawks to subdue the awful Detroit Pistons by eight points the next day. ... Like him or not, Mike Woodson was difficult to overlook. His former team has found Woody's nice-guy assistant all too easy to ignore.

This team is just filled with under achievers....They should be much better than what they have been the last 3 years...

The way they played against the bulls the other night shows their not serious about winning JJ has gone cruise mode and doesn't really care anymore now that he's got his 100 Mill in the bank...

Drew looks angry everytime that I've seen him on TV. Nice guys don't finish 1st in the NBA.

Pop is the perfect example of winning (Not Sheening). You got to demand respect of the multi millionaire athletes. If you have a championship ring that carries a lot of weight with these one and done divas.

The Hawks should've kept Woodson, he took them from the valley towards the mountain during his tenure. Maybe the Human Highlight will took over the tv/radio headphones and get into coaching.

Without an elite point guard, good bigs and a better bench the hawks are irrelevant.

Yup.... The things they won't be able to obtain because they signed JJ to 100 Mill.....

Nice guys finish last, Bro.

I wish this headline read: Signs point to Knicks quitting on no D guy coach

No D coach? Hell Carmelo Anthony isnt going to play defense no matter whos coaching. Look at how Denvers players are all saying "good riddance" to the punk arse loser now that hes finally gone. Denver sure doesnt miss him and NY looks worse with him than before he got there.
