08:10 AM ET 03.25 | Anthony Randolph shined in place of Kevin Love during Thursday's Timberwolves loss, but it's Love's availability that may be of more interest than Randolph's career-high 31. Before the game, Timberwolves coach Kurt Rambis said there's a chance Love could miss the rest of the season because of a strained left groin. "There is an outside chance; I don't know how great that chance is," Rambis said. "Obviously, with hamstring or groin injuries, you want to be cautious with them because they can linger for a long period of time, and we don't want that to happen with Kevin." Love, averaging 20.3 points and an NBA-best 15.4 rebounds per game, didn't travel with the team after sustaining the injury in Minnesota's previous game, a 127-95 home loss to Sacramento on Sunday.

It would be a big blow to the wolves if love was done for the season but because they have nothing to play for and there's only 10 or so games left they might want to be cautious and keep him on the shelf anyway.

It wont change the end result yes I know and realize that but the Timberwolves are 3~23 lifetime without him. In the last 10 games wouldn't you want to finish strong and play for pride? Their record isn't great with him so what would it be like without him?

What I have read from some truth and rumor website is they are looking at Williams from Arizona if they get the second overall pick and Nolan out of Duke with the 18th, of course it???s way too early to tell but that is the first mock draft I have seen for the year.

I think they should keep Love and build around him and be patient. Kevin Durants first 2 years in the league OKC didn't go anywhere but they were patient and realized a transformation from basement to legit playoff contender wasn't happening overnight and now look where they are. If minny is patient and give their young guys time and experience on a few years they could be very fois. The talent is certainly there.
