02:14 PM ET 03.26 | Deion Sanders has used the airwaves this week to criticize Dez Bryant after the Cowboys receiver was given a criminal trespass warning at NorthPark Center last Saturday. "I'm upset but not surprised whatsoever," Sanders said on ESPN-FM Friday. "He needs help. He needs help. I told the Cowboys from Day One that he needs help. Matter of fact, they have a team in place to help him. But you cannot tell a grown man what to do." According to the police report written after the incident at NorthPark Center, Bryant spewed profanity when off-duty police officers working security at the mall asked him and his friends to pull up their pants. Bryant was issued a criminal trespass warning, but NorthPark released a statement Friday evening saying he is welcome to return to the mall.

Wasn't Deion his mentor/advisor? It looks like he learned well.

Dez will probably pay as much attention to Deion's criticisms as Roethlisberger did to Bradshaw

Funny lol

I read an article about thus "incident" it really didn't seem like a big deal. One thing you (should) learn as you grow older is to pick your battles---- sometimes its better to pull up your pants and walk away .

Sometimes it's better not to pull your pants down at all.

Full story on ESPN's site goes into more detai. Sanders said a lot more about this and I have to agree with him.

Really?... Are you kidding me right now?
Hey Dion, remember when another 88 was getting into a tad bit more trouble then just dropping an F bomb on a mall cop?

This article was QUITE lacking in juicy details, more of Dez's side below, it seems Dion wouldn't return his texts when he stopped wearing the cleats of Dion's sponsor, Under Armour.

Get over yourself Dion.

I hope it's not the same team Jerry Jones assigned to watch over Pacman Jones.

I read the article, unless Deion knows more about Dez (and I would hope he does) the only thing I get is Bryant cussed at a cop who was hasselling his friend. He admitted he was wrong and apologized. I am not a Cowboy fan -but this doesn't seem to be a major character flaw; at least at this point. Time will tell, and Dez needs to grow up and recognize that with fame and fortune comes responsibility.

Dez learned he should take whatever Deion has to say with a grain of salt. Dez learned quickly, as far as that was concerned.

Deion looks like a bad a** in that pic

I live in the Dallas area and I had heard from a friend who works at North Park before this incident that Dez Bryant is a complete ****. He has had more than one incident there. He has yelled at the valet for taking too long. He and his crew have also told people to move as they walk the mall so they can all walk next to each other.
