Rose as MVP doesn't add up

08:11 AM ET 03.28 | Statistically speaking, Russell Westbrook may be every bit the equal of Derrick Rose. The Bulls' offense is statistically mediocre; Rose is that offense's best player. The Bulls' defense is best in the league; Rose might be that defense's least important piece. But throw all the ingredients together in the Winning Pot, make a stew with a flavor that surprises us and you, too, can taste like MVP. Rose benefits from the greatness of his teammates, but Westbrook is harmed by the greatness of his more famous one (Kevin Durant). Would Westbrook be MVP if he simply had Chicago's defense? Would he be a bigger scorer than Rose if he didn't have to share with Durant? The only reason Rose scores 2.7 points more than Westbrook per game? He has taken 200 more shots.

Even the writer of the Miami Herald is hating on Rose. Rose for M.V.P hands down!

Can't wait until MMAFAN sees this. Here is how it work. Westbrook numbers might be great simply because he plays with durant and defenses has to account for Durant first. That gives him more chances. Boozer was suppose to be a 20/10 guy and has hardly play. Look at the guards they have lost this yr, look at the injuries and now add in the extra burden he has had to carry on offense. Give the man his dues. MVP.

no kidding, how dumb does this sound, rose benefit from the greatness of his teammates. Yet Westbrook is harmed by defensive focusing on stoping Durant.... What teammates are playing truly great. I will give Deng his props and Kurt Thomas for stepping up but someone has kept them rolling.

haha out of all newspaper companies in America the biggest hate has to come from the Miami Herald...i guess the dude that wrote this article is pissed off cause he probably bet his life savings on the Heat winning the title this year. and he just might be living in the dumpster along with this article after the Bulls knock the Heat out of the playoffs.
