Knicks could move Amar'e or 'Melo for Howard

08:07 AM ET 03.29 | Do they really want a big man this badly? It wouldn't be shocking at all if the New York Knicks -- the Magic's opponent Monday -- make a play for Dwight Howard next season, perhaps offering either Amar'e Stoudemire or Carmelo Anthony at the trade deadline for the All-Star center. Howard can become a free agent after next season, and the Magic will be nervously waiting for the NBA's most dominant big man to make a decision. If they don't want to wait and risk losing him without compensation, the Magic could listen to trade offers for Howard next season. It's when they have some leverage. ... The Knicks are desperate for a center. You don't think they'd part with either Anthony or Stoudemire for Howard? Stoudemire has had to play the role of the Knicks' big man this season, and it has worn him down.

If they get rid of Amar'e or 'Melo, then they wasted their time in this building process. Why would they be that impatient? Ridiculous.

I can only hope NY getting torched by the bobcats was this teams rock bottom and the win last night was the beginning of the move in the right direction

Well they should be fine as long as no teams over .500 are on the schedule...Oh wait I just saw they have the Cavs coming up....lol

I would agree with your statemend, but then again... If you have the chance to get Howard, then get him. That would put NY in the same situation as that with Melo.

Listen up D'Antoni we need to make the offense go through Amare and play an inside game running pick and rolls from all sides of the court till we get a dunk or wide open shot. That's why y've always done it... why change now? Even last night if the refs didn't help us we would have lost the game. Lets get it together. Back to fundamental basketbal.. It's inside out...
