08:08 AM ET 03.29 | There aren't many cases of a courting taking as long as that of Ricky Rubio, who has already been drafted but also has shown some reluctance to take his talents to the Land of 10,000 Lakes. A little birdie says the Minnesota Timberwolves have received word from Rubio's family that he's open to signing with them for next season -- if there is a season. The NBA's labor agreement expires June 30, and that's an issue for Rubio, the Wolves' 2009 first-round draft pick who could continue playing for FC Barcelona in Spain if there is an NBA lockout. The 6-foot-4 point guard is averaging 5.5 points and four assists in 45 games this season.

Wolves can use just about anything these days. That said, stay in Spain, Rubio. You suck.

Great... we'll see him in a suit and tie representing the team on draft order day. I hope he sports a scowl the way Chris Webber used to.

It hard to compare EURO ball and NBA ..... games are shorter you know ... only 40 minutes vs 48 .... Assits most EURO Box scores, whole team 12 vs Nash / Rondo 11+ avg. ...

but, the BIG IF ... could continue playing in Spain IF there is an NBA LOCKOUT ...

I am guessing Ricky in Spain next season

He hasn't really gotten any better since he had the hype.....he really missed out on the Knicks drafting him.....receiving entirely too much hype for being a below averange point guard and being defended by all Knicks fans
