It will be nice to have a little more competition for the little brown jug. So, hope they get some recruits and that new stadium they want as well.

As it becomes more common to stick up for your conference, I think it would be better if Minnesota could get better, then maybe the BIg 10 could be considered the top conference again...

He just needs a QB to excecute his offense. He'll probably turn to his son, next year.

They ARE NOT recruiting well. They have the 33rd ranked class in the nation. That is nothing to write home about.

the gophers have always had a horrible, atrocious DEFENSE.
they've had some great running with the barber and maroney era, and had some decent passing.

but their defense always looks like they're out there with 9 guys.

Brewster will recruit better the closer he gets to the new stadium. Remember that all of the historical years for gopher football happened on campus. Six national titles and 18 big ten champions.

There are some magic days ahead at three corners. Marriuci Arena where the always strong hockey team plays, Williams Arena with the no brainer turn around with Tubby Smith and TCF Bank stadium will sit right across the street. I dont think any Northern town could have recruited recruit with the old white elephant called the metro dome that competes with a pro football and baseball team.

Better days should be coming. Brewster can sell.
