08:28 AM ET 03.30 | Early in the second period Tuesday night, Shawn Thornton was cut by Fernando Pisani's skate blade, which carved a wound requiring 40-plus stitches to close. As Thornton made his way to the dressing room, he heard one of the Blackhawks give him the business from the bench. Thornton stopped and made it known he didn't appreciate it. "There was some stuff said that I'm not very happy about," Thornton said. "If I ever find out who it was, I'll deal with it in my own way." Referee Don Van Massenhoven also heard the comments, Thornton said. "He was [upset] too," Thornton said. "But he didn't know who it was either. He actually yelled at their bench. I appreciate it. There's guys on our team that chirp a lot. But I don't know if it's right when somebody's face is halfway across the other side of his face. But it's a tough game. People have to live with their actions."

What happened is the Hawks went to the Averhole School of Class.

I wonder who the award-winning commentator was?

Thornton, my man, all I have to say is, "I feel your pain, man! But .... you should talk to Recchi about chirping about someone who's hurt. I'm just sayin'!"

If I had to gues who it was, it was probably that cab driver beating little sheyet. He's very brave from the safety of his bench. I'm just sayin'.

They don't need to. They have their own cadre of "classy" individuals, let by 5 cents Patrick Kane.

How can that be Roamer? Isn't he from the classy city of Buffalo?

That was cheap, ranks right up there with Giles taunting from the runway at a guy down on the ice.

"Class" has very little to do with which city one comes from. It has a lot to do with upbringing. Some people have it, some people don't.

Can't get too excited about this story, I am however pretty happy with the way the Bruins have been playing. Nice win last night over a desperate team.

I'd like one of the Hawks to come out and say, "Yeah it was me, i said it, whatcha gonna do about it tough guy?"

Too bad they traded away all of their balls.

Amen to that, brother! They beat them like a rented mule, and in more ways than just the scoreboard!

LOL! Just curious, were you trying to say, "Magna Dumb Loud Mouth?" Or .... something else?

I say suspend the entire Blackhawks team for the rest of the season and the first round of the playoffs. My goodness. Hits to the head and now......chirping! Will the horrors ever cease?
