08:02 AM ET 04.01 | Off-the-field questions will continue for Robert Quinn, but he did what he could at Thursday's UNC pro day to answer for his physical skills. Quinn, who had trouble with footing during a three-cone drill, said he wanted to compete and improve his numbers [from the combine]. He said he achieved that with a broad jump of 10-5 1/2 (compared to 9-10 at the combine), 24 repetitions on the bench press (compared to 22) and a 40-yard dash of 4.59 seconds. "People say I look slimmer, but I weighed the same (at 264 pounds as the Combine)," Quinn said. Quinn said the season-long 2010 suspension has been a subject for him to address with the NFL teams. "Every team I talked to, they bring it up," he said. "I kind of expected the questions were coming." Still, he said he has 12 to 14 individual workouts scheduled, mentioning the 49ers first.

And it was Quinn's pro day -if you can control the variables you are going to look good -the game tape is where you can really eval what he can do

Everyone need's to calm down....I guarentee there will be a season. There's to much money involved for BOTH players and Owners for there to not be an NFL season, they'll eventually agree on something. $5 million a year is still better then no million a year...so don't worry people, we all knew this was coming.....there will be a season....relax.

The combine measures the athlete's ability compared to Pros. His football smarts, intangibles, and play-making ability come through in film. That said, the Combine IS overrated...
