11:30 AM ET 04.02 | Juan Pablo Montoya said Friday he's heard the rumors that former Formula One teammate Kimi Raikkonen is headed to NASCAR. Raikkonen is reportedly planning to enter a Truck Series race at Charlotte next month. If he does try NASCAR, he'd follow Montoya, Scott Speed and Nelson Piquet Jr. as the most recent former F1 drivers to move to America's most popular motorsports series.

So, Montoya has heard the rumor, has he? Did he have a comment? Did he wish Kimi luck? Curse him? Yawn with indifference? Oh well, at least we have a new post to start commenting on and ignoring spam on. Enjoy the weekend all.

I'm thinking 2 years tops till he replaces You Know Who at Hendrick....

At the outside.

With JPM as his wingman once Martin falls on his own sword.

JK close your eyes and skip this comment LOL

If Kimi is going to Kyle's truck team, he must have some good potential.....Kyle would not hire someone who would not appear to be able to handle the switchover (in due time).

I know you mean it. You have shown many signs of seeing the light and that is due to your superior Nascar knowledge. LOL

I wish him luck-F1 drivers haven't really done that well with the switch over--but as someone said they try to go where the $$$$$$$ is.......

It must be nice to be Kyle Busch. They all get so excited if they can beat him in a race. Jeff Gordon was all pumped up a few weeks ago, " we beat Kyle Busch" was the first thing he said after the race. Last night Sauters crew chief said " Somebody finally beat Kyle Busch " Sauter then said " Even non Nascar fans know who Kyle Busch is, because he wins all the time. It's cool to beat Kyle Busch. I can tell you that "

He'll fade just like Gordon did and J.J. and a host of others. Keeps it interesting. I'ts cool to win, as an old drag racer (wern't we all) can tell you.
