Eagles running back Brian Westbrook missed a second straight day of practice yesterday with swelling in his left knee. He was listed as questionable on the injury report. "He's got a little bit of swelling on his knee and a little soreness there," head coach Andy Reid said. Both Westbrook and Reid expect the star running back to be on the field for tomorrow's game against the Miami Dolphins.

If he's missed practice, and is swollen and tender in the knees, why on earth play him against the Dolphins? I know Westbrook wants to pad his stats for a contract, but at some point its not worth it. This game is my upset special of the week, not because I really think the Dolphins can win, but because it'd be funny if they did. I just like to see Philly fans and media get in a tizzy.

Maybe Westbrook is not an every down back because he cannot take the pounding. Maybe the 25 mil five year contract was more than fair. This is his sixth year in the league, that is a lot for a running back.

Why not let him pad his stats, This would be the game to do it Plus, that's all they have.

Westbrook or not, I'm sure the Dolphs can find a way to lose this one.

I am not sure that an Eagles loss is ever an upset this year, it is almost more surprising when they win.

The Dolphins will win tomorrow (Hence, I never mentioned specific dates).

Eagles will need Westbrook and 20 more players to even stay on the field next week at the Razor with the Pats....it'll be like the opening game in Invincible....
