07:56 AM ET 04.05 | At least one report has the Bengals adding Kevin Kolb to their mix of options at quarterback. Has it been brought up in a kick-the-tires sort of way? Yes, especially since the Bengals are going with the West Coast offense and Kolb's former quarterbacks coach (James Urban) is now here as the receivers coach. Is it likely to happen? We can't see it for a variety of reasons. There is an extremely good chance that the trading period will not start until after the draft. If the Bengals take a quarterback in the first two rounds that alone would probably take them out of the running. One NFL observer said he wouldn't be surprised if seven quarterbacks were selected in the first 50 picks.

Will they or won't they? That is the question, they should, he's better than anything they have now.

Joe Namath is better than anything they have now.

The Cincinnati Enquirer and National Enquirer have one thing in common, you can't believe what you read.

Typical Bungles move. This is an upgrade over Palmer?

April 5, 2011  08:08 AM ET

Bengals need to get as much as they can for Palmer and draft a QB to build around.

Hey, if you combine the daily Kolb thread with the daily Bungles thread, you come up one thread short for the day.

They'll both be sorry.

Well trading for Kolb would gurantee them a top 10 pick next year too.

They need to, but it's the Bungles, so they won't.

You'd think this guy was Slinging Sammy Baugh the way his name is always brought up. He's thrown 11 TD's in his entire career.
