Broncos may trade down, looking at Bowers

08:07 AM ET 04.06 | Some would like to imagine a Broncos front four that includes Elvis Dumervil at right end and Da'Quan Bowers on the left. Dumervil led the NFL with 17 sacks in 2009. Bowers led NCAA Division I-A with 15 1/2 sacks in 2010. The Broncos are at least intrigued by the possible twin terrors, as evidenced by arranging for Bowers to visit their Dove Valley headquarters Monday. Because of concerns stemming from Bowers' recent knee surgery, it's unlikely the Broncos would use their No. 2 pick on the Clemson defensive end. But if the Broncos trade back from No. 2 to, say, the No. 8 spot where the Tennessee Titans may want to trade up for a quarterback, and Bowers is still on the board? Make no mistake, the Broncos are considering trading back from the No. 2 spot so long as they get another first-round pick, and at least a second-round pick, in return.

Instead of a C on the first word, it should have been an S.

Bowers has been free falling as far as his draft status....he started out as a possiblity to go one and probably at the latest 5. Now everyone has him in the teens on their draft boards....so much stock into workouts. But him it is inconsistiences on film.
