Top recruit visits Gophers
That was Minnesota Gophers football coach Tim Brewster and Eden Prairie defensive end Willie Mobley, the top uncommitted prospect in Minnesota, exchanging hugs on the Metrodome sideline before Saturday's Gophers-Wisconsin game. Mobley said he had a good visit at Ohio State two weekends ago. Contrary to a report elsewhere, Mobley said he is by no means academically ineligible for next season.

What's the reason why the Gophers are so awful this year? The U of M got rid of GC (general college). No, not really, half the backfield will be in prison next year and everything fell apart from there. Not a single team in all of Minnesota can cover the pass, there must be something in the water.
