Holmes not certain of Jets return

08:39 AM ET 04.10 | Santonio Holmes is taking a wait-and-see approach regarding his future with the Jets. "It's out of my hands," Holmes said this afternoon at a sports memorabilia show in New Jersey. "I'm a free agent this year. Whatever my agent brings to the table -- the best deal for me -- I'm pretty sure that's where we'll end up. I would love (to play for the Jets). But whatever happens, happens. I don't know. I've never been in this situation before. I really don't know how to explain it to anybody. Whatever happens I'm happy to be wherever I end up at." Holmes, who had a penchant for late-game heroics in his first season with the Jets, stopped short of saying that he preferred playing for Gang Green if all things were equal.

52 catches for 746 yards all the while missing four games. If it would have been a full season, he would have gained a 1,000 yards receiving. Sanchez has to want this guy back. Braylon "Stonehands" Edwards can't be your number one receiver if you want to be a serious contender.

Not a Jets fan, read everyone's point..I like Holmes but I don't think he's a big enough key for the Jets to command a huge contract. We'll see how theytruly feel if they draft more than one WR in the draft.
