08:07 AM ET 04.11 | After a somewhat historic loss Sunday, Kobe Bryant was fuming, and he purposely avoided his teammates immediately afterward. [It's] a sign nonetheless that the Lakers' losses are more than just blips. "I didn't want to redecorate the walls in here so I made the effort to go in the training room and keep to myself," Bryant said 62 minutes after the game ended and then responded sarcastically to whether he was mad. "No, not at all." Bryant was uncertain on whether the Lakers can turn things around in the two remaining regular-season games -- Tuesday against San Antonio and Wednesday at Sacramento -- in time for the Lakers to be at their best once the playoffs start, offering a tepid, "I hope so."

Another LA drama. They are just fine, and CAN turn it on when they need to.
Just get some rest guys, you are still the team to beat!

The Lakers will be ok in time for the playoffs.

Well.....if you'd seen the last 90 seconds of the game vs OKC, you'd have seen there was plenty of blame to spread around.

They had a one point lead but as a team absolutely melted down.

No.....they won't.

QUOTE(#10):

It's not playoff time yet......

This is where play-off teams should be peaking.

But the Lakers, Celts and Knicks are dying on the respective vines.....not a good time for that at all!

As I see it, Chicago & Miami in the East and San Antonio and OKC in the West are puttin' it together nicely. THESE are the teams that are going to do some damage!

April 11, 2011  08:42 AM ET

I think its funny that when other teams are losing lately they are "choking"...Spurs, Mavs, C's.....But when the Lakers lose its just they are bored....LOL

It may be an OKC/Knicks finals. Who in the Celtics organization decided it's best to let Perk go? I still can't get my head around it - they basically gave up a clear cut championship season and definitely can't get past Miami, Orlando and Knicks. Even if they do their old legs will be too worn to battle which ever team gets out of the West.

On paper Dallas should win the West but they always find a way to choke in the playoffs... As for Bulls they won't get past the second round.

Thank you. I'm not going to go off the deep and be like uh oh the Lakers are in big trouble now because they aren't. However, if it was choking with the other teams it is choking for the Lakers.

I understand your point about LA and Boston, but the Knicks are on a 7 game winning streak. They are playing great.

You're correct. I really lost track of them over the past couple weeks.....

The Lakers aren't bored......they're just playing like crap.

Play-offs start next week.....they need to turn things around NOW! They're playing like they're ready for a first round exit.....and they may be if they have to go up against Portland.
