08:06 AM ET 04.12 | Add the 49ers to former Kansas State standout Daniel Thomas' list. Thomas will visit the 49ers next Monday, according to his agent. Thomas, who rushed for 2,850 yards and scored 30 rushing touchdowns the last two seasons, is one of two high-profile running backs known to be visiting with the 49ers. Oklahoma State's Kendall Hunter (5-foot-7, 199 lbs.) also will meet with coaches this month. Both could be drafted as high as the second round. The 49ers need to replace their second-leading rusher from last season, Brian Westbrook, who is an unrestricted free agent. They also may be looking for a potential replacement for Frank Gore, who has been injured in each of the last four seasons and who is entering the final year of his contract.

Potential? Just target a guy and pick him.

Niners could do this, Niners could do that. Let me know when they actually do something. Assuming of course there is a season to do anything with. And WTF is up with T&R? I click on last T&R and end up in the NBA threads. A telling sign of things to come I suppose. No NFL threads to be found.

It appears that some teams draft board is nothing more than a dart board.

Is that the only pic you have of Harbaugh? Who cares who is targeting? Isn't Gore still there and injured?

The Derby is coming up soon...will he be there?

April 12, 2011  08:43 AM ET

Seriously though, he's looking over the teams deficiencies and that's a good sign. Being able to address them all is something else.
