Brewer thought thumb was broken

08:13 AM ET 04.13 | The hustle award is great and all, but Ronnie Brewer needs his health, too. Brewer saved a possession early in the second quarter by scrambling for a ball and knocking it loose four times before retrieving it and calling a timeout. But he suffered a sprained left thumb and had to leave the game. Doctors will take another look at Brewer's hand Wednesday. "I thought I broke it," Brewer said. "I was like, 'Oh, man, not with two games left I broke my thumb.' Even if it was, I was going to try to get it taped and play." Brewer had a brace on the thumb but said he thinks he'll be able to play. "It hurts, but I'm not worried about that," Brewer said. "It's nothing that a little toughness can't get over and try to play through it. If it's still attached [to his hand], I'm going to try to be out there."

Bulls were trying to get that top spot and well the Knicks should have benched EVERYONE and let the Bill Walker of the world play that game....

Just get ready for the plyoffs. It may be a long playoff season for them. By the way, Congrats to the Bulls for their first 60+ win season since the MJ days. I heard that when they win 60+ games, they also win the Championship too. We shall see...

QUOTE(#2):

I have no idea why either coach played his regulars for so long last night

Chicago wants the overall best record in the league so they can have home court advantage throughout the post season thinking they will get far but little do they know that their destiny ends in the second round.....

Nah... Bulls will get past the first round Indiana is easy like Gloria James... the second round is where things will get hectic for you guys and for a team that's won 60 games that shouldn't be the case. I'm also happy to hear Noah twisted something.

This is why you rest your starters. Especially as hard as Rose plays.Bynum should have been resting also.
