Well if nobody's won a major with it yet it's pretty clear that the long putter doesn't give an advantage. If it really did, they'd all be using it. Non-story.

Another person who wrongly associates Tiger's past dominance to his driver and not his putter. While I believe Tiger was doping... doping doesnt help putting.

Tiger, while on that crazy run, was often in the top five of every putting statistic.

Watch Golf... then comment.

I hate the long putter but you know what its not illegal so they can use it.

I like the watching the LPGA when they use the long putter...

Agree. They should outlaw all other putters and require the broomstick. If that's too easy, next comes a pool cue.

They should have never allowed it in the first place. If you can't putt with a regular putter then get your friggin butt off tour.
