LPGA serious about keeping Kraft

10:57 AM ET 04.17 | In talking to LPGA commissioner Michael Whan at the Kraft Nabisco earlier this month, the second-year commissioner said the LPGA already is talking with people about taking over the Kraft. One intriguing prospect Whan threw out was the idea that the LPGA could take over the major championship for a year or two while it looks for a new owner or sponsor if Kraft's 2014 deadline comes with no new ownership. That shows just how serious the LPGA is about keeping the Kraft as a viable tournament.
