0-10 Dolphins coach not worried

A few days before the Giants game at London last month, Dolphins owner H. Wayne Huizenga said it was too early to judge first-year coach Cam Cameron because he had only seen him "work seven days." Now, he's seen 10. But despite directing the Dolphins to a franchise-worst 0-10 start, Cameron -- in the first year of a four-year deal -- said Monday that job security is not an issue.

Why should he be worried, the Dolphins are so well run and coaches never get fired in the NFL.

he shouldnt worry the fins have at least 1 win on their schedule. Hello Bungals. thank you for the gift of 1-15 as opposed to going 0-16.

Cam-Cam, you so funny.

November 20, 2007  09:48 AM ET

The Dolphins should at least win 2 games, if they can't then it's just ridiculous!!! But I don't think Cam will get fired, and the Fins have had alot of big time injuries, especially thier starters!!!

I still think he does not know what hes doing as a Head Coach. It cannot be anymore obvious than what has transpired. Dumps his good talent in favor of Garbage talent. Embarrasses a Seasoned vet in the middle of the practice field in front of every one with an security escort off of the field.
Lets give him on the job training and raise the ticket prices more and more so the fans are paying for Junk Bond like team..

i used to think going 0-16 was definitely going to happen, but now that they have ricky back.... they might win the rest of the games on their schedule....

oh, am i high while typing this?
here ricky its ur hit...lol

Generally, in order to have a good football team, you need to have a competant QB that hasn't been knocked silly. The coach shouldn't really worry about his job security until he has the tools with which to actually DO his job.

I'm sure they can get a win this week. They're only playing the steelers. The steelers will lose to a 1 win team, then a no win team, then hop into the delorian and lose to the 76-77 bucs.

What does Don Shula have to say about the Dolphins going "perfect" both ways? Or is he just interested when its the New England Patriots. Dolphins are the laughing stock of the NFL and have sucked for years now. Come Shula and the 1972 Dolphins speak up about the 2007 Dolphins and leave what happened 35 years ago..............to 35 years ago

Maybe Cam can manage a Blockbuster franchise for Wayne if things if the 'fins continue to stink out the joint every Sunday. But hey, they'll have the first pick in next year's draft, let's look on the bright side.

November 20, 2007  07:48 PM ET

If the Dolphins finish 0-16, will we be reading about this team years from now poping champagne once every team in the league gets their first victory?

November 20, 2007  11:54 PM ET

Why should he be???? The NFL just gave him some help in the shape of a "riffer in cleats".... Can't beat that!!!!

November 21, 2007  08:18 AM ET

Why worry, Ricky Williams is back (again, again, again, again...)!

November 21, 2007  08:28 AM ET

Duh. They just hired this baffoon. He knows he has another season like this before he gets canned.

November 21, 2007  08:40 AM ET

Cam, don't worry. If you get fired you can always come back to Michigan and be the OC under Les Miles...

November 21, 2007  11:16 AM ET

Ricky....pssst...Ricky....hey Ricky.....here got some for ya....hey Ricky....just one...take the edge off...psst...hey Ricky.....

November 21, 2007  12:48 PM ET

They don't want to win. Why trade your best receiver to your former team for a draft pick you'll probably screw up?

November 21, 2007  09:35 PM ET

The offensive line has improved, the receivers (Ginn JR & Hagan) are gonna make the most of the last six games with Beck at QB and build confidence, which will translate in a much better passing game next season...
The running game will be better when Brown gets back and we might be able to pull out a fourth or fifth round pick in the next draft for Ricky...
The defense will be addressed in the coming draft and should improve greatly...
All we have to do is see where there are improvements and take it from there, to me Cam Cameron is doing a decent job with the tools he has...
Lets see what happens with the Dolphins at the end of the 2008 regular season, and take it from there.

Things could be worst, remember Wanstedt?

November 22, 2007  06:33 AM ET

So job security not an issue eh, Cam? Then go ahead and shoot for 0-16 and lets see what happens.
