08:03 AM ET 04.20 | Sergio Kindle's fall, both literal and figurative, is one from which Baltimore believes he may be able to recover. The Ravens haven't given up yet on Kindle. The second-round draft pick has received a more encouraging medical prognosis lately from neurological specialists. "To have been able to sit here the day we picked Sergio and say that he was going to fall down a flight of stairs, I couldn't predict that one," Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said today when asked if he ever second-guesses his draft decisions. "But that story is not written yet. ... Said John Harbaugh: "There's some hope there, there's a chance," Harbaugh said during a conference call with season ticket holders. "I'm more optimistic now than ever before that he has a chance to come back and play. It will just be a matter of seeing how well he does."

However, a book tossed down a flight of stairs will fare far better than a Kindle.

Haha: Dr. Nick, this malpractice committee has received a few complaints against you. Of the 160 gravest charges, the most troubling are performing major operations with a knife and fork from a seafood restaurant.
Dr. Nick: But I cleaned them with my napkin.

Actually the team is on the hook as long as he wasn't doing something forbidden in his contract. They need to rehab him.

Didn't know that.... most places fight WC claims tooth and nail, try to prove it didn't happen on the job or is job related.. Thats great for him if the team helps out

coming back from this to play in the NFL just can't be a good thing...maybe he can go into coaching because I wouldn't want to see his brain take any more abuse
