08:16 AM ET 04.20 | If you're keeping score -- and if you're in SEC country, you probably are -- the scoreboard shows Alabama with a decisive lead. Thanks to a commitment over the weekend, Alabama is out to an early 11-3 lead over Auburn in college football recruiting, and the Tigers won't be able to tie things up with a touchdown and a successful two-point conversion. It's going to take a whole lot more work than that to pull even with the Crimson Tide. And honestly, along with leading the quantity battle for recruits, Alabama is also leading the quality battle. Seven of its recruits are rated four-star players or better by Scout.com, while Auburn only has one four-star kid. The weekend addition to Alabama's impressive class is defensive end Ryan Anderson, a 6-foot-3, 250-pound athlete out of Daphne (Ala.). He also reported a scholarship offer from Auburn, along with Illinois, Kentucky, South Florida and Tennessee.

Alabama cheats. Alabama pays players, blah, blah, blah. Just getting it out there so you guys don't have to waste your time saying it over and over.
On a serious note, this is looking like possibly our best class ever on paper, so far. Easily a top 3 class again.
