08:15 AM ET 04.21 | One of baseball's most recognizable teams is now in the care of Bud Selig and Major League Baseball. Selig has anticipated the possibility of a legal challenge by McCourt, which could delay any ownership change, according to two parties briefed on Wednesday's announcement but not authorized to discuss it publicly. ... Selig generally prefers that owners live in the community in which a team plays and that they have some familiarity with Major League Baseball. The two parties most often mentioned as interested buyers, each of whom lives in Los Angeles, are Milwaukee Brewers owner Mark Attanasio and Chicago White Sox executive Dennis Gilbert.

if Cuban shows interest they should let him buy them, why they wont let him in as an owner just baffles me

Whoever it is, it is sure to be an improvement over McCourt...except maybe Mark Cuban, who could make things worse

At one time the Dodgers were one of the wealthiest franchises of all of baseball so this is a shame. It's also another black eye in the Bud Selig era, is there anything good that will be remembered during his reign as Commissioner?
