08:07 AM ET 04.22 | Chris Young may have the wrong read on Vince Young as he relates to the Titans. Coach Mike Munchak reiterated Thursday that the team and the quarterback will part ways, no matter what happens in the NFL draft. The fact that the verdict was reached on Jeff Fisher's watch changes nothing, said Munchak, whose focus is on identifying the next Titans quarterback and whether that player might come from an intriguing group of draft prospects next week. "That was a decision made months ago and nothing that is going to happen personnel-wise, or how the draft goes, is going to change that," said Munchak, who replaced Fisher in February. "It wasn't just a Jeff Fisher decision -- I think people kind of have that feeling because it happened back then we could change our decision."

So, who will pick him up? That's the interesting question. So many teams, so few quarterbacks.

Vince has Rai-duhs written all over him.

And that might be the best for everyone involved.

He'll be a good backup to whomever ends up being their starter.

We don't have a Waaa - mbulance big enough for him in Washington.

Especially if he leads them to 12-4 and the AFC West crown...

He has a winning percentage as starting QB.

Do you really think they will play 16 games this season?

Closing the book on a Young return is a good idea, though. It's just a comic book anyway, and they don't make those like they used to.

HELLO RAIDERS!

April 22, 2011  09:31 AM ET

Someone will definitely pick him up, so many teams need QB, even prima donna ones.... Probably the Raiders

I wouldn't put it past Pete Carrol to kick VY's tires.

Is that a two headed Goat or something?

In my 60+ years of following the NFL this is the oddest situation I've ever seen. This is a young man who would appear to have everything it takes to be a big winner and yet... There obviously are issues behind the scenes that cancel out the promise of his brilliant college career (and that great national championship performance) and the great run he had when the owner forced the coach to play him. What a chapter it would be in the whole story if he does go to Oakland and has success! He does not appear to have a great deal of other options.

That's an outstanding achievement! Especially when you consider the fact that you're only 55.
