10:20 AM ET 04.23 | Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is worried about the negative effect a prolonged lockout will have on the city and people of Green Bay. "I'm optimistic and confident in the leadership on our side that we're going to be able to get something done. There's too many people affected like I said. You look at a community like Green Bay, those businesses that are around Lambeau and are in Green Bay, the hotels, stores, the restaurants, and bars are all really affected by a lockout, a prolonged lockout where we miss some time so I hope we consider them in this process and find a way to get something done that both sides can agree upon."

Your franchise is riding high, should be less of an effect on GB

Awwww. Aaron really cares.. He really does. To show the people how much, commit some of that bankroll to them until the lockout is over.

I hate that picture.... Sorry Count

Nice of him to mention the collateral damage of lock-out. Not that the owners would really care.

Add me to the 'love the pic' team. Pretty tired of this bs. Teams have got peeps to sign.

There ya go. Just BS for PR purposes. He probably wants to open a cheese and beer bar there.

Unlike corporate teams, Packer fans will come to Green Bay because it's Green Bay.
