Ghost of Braylon haunting Browns

08:03 AM ET 04.25 | It seems only a few short years ago that Cleveland took Braylon Edwards No. 3 overall. The Browns didn't pick as high as No. 3 again until ... wow ... all of two years later. In 2007, they made their best draft choice of the expansion era, offensive tackle Joe Thomas. Edwards produced one season of highlights and four seasons of headaches emanating in part from that New York essence he was giving off. Nothing against wide receivers A.J. Green of Georgia or Julio Jones of Alabama -- there certainly have been wise top-of-the-draft selections in recent drafts used on wideouts such as Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson. But the Browns should go defense with their first pick and take North Carolina's Robert Quinn.

Should-a...could-a....lets see what they actually do, shall we?

Is that what's wrong with the Browns? They're posessed? Well, better thant he Dodgers and Mets, who may end up re-posessed.

The only difference between the Browns and the Flubs is that the Browns have won a title in the last 100 years (1964)

Cleveland really dropped the ball on Braylon.

April 25, 2011  08:36 AM ET

What is this ghost of Braylon nonsense? Teams draft bust players all the time. I dont think the Browns really miss him.
