Vikings talking trade

08:06 AM ET 04.25 | Rick Spielman hasn't shied away from referencing the possibility of trading. Spielman's trade talk could be an attempt to add a little fog to the perpetual NFL draft smoke screens. But adding volume to a Vikings draft pool that includes just three picks in the first four rounds might be attractive to Spielman, especially if he could recoup that third-round pick lost in last year's trade for Randy Moss. "When you look at the draft, or you look at the potential of moving out of the No. 12 pick and accumulating more picks, I think it's a good draft, a really deep draft," Spielman said. "There are some positions in this draft that are extremely intriguing, to say the least."

Randy Moss was a huge mistake for them. it would be nice, if they get rid of the crack smokers in charge of making those kind of decisions in the front office before they do anything.

True, but when they acquired Moss, it seemed like no one was in charge... The Head Coach knew nothing about bringing him in, and the owner knew nothing about him being released later.

It's like time-share. They're hoping to trade their stadium condo with a leaky roof for one in someplace warm and sunny, like maybe southern California.

Seemed like? No one WAS in charge. No leadership from the owner, none from the coaches, none from the players.

It was someone in football Operations that picked him up. (I forget his name).
But I think it was done to please the QB who should remain nameless.
and they needed a receiver badly, what they got was a bad receiver.

Which really led to people scratching their heads when he threw Favre under the bus later in the season.

Now that should be a Banded word on FN, but they would lose half of next years T&R's, if they did it.
