08:09 AM ET 04.26 | Amar'e Stoudemire is on the record in his clear support of Mike D'Antoni. Carmelo Anthony also said he wouldn't mind giving D'Antoni another try, pointing to the fact that the coach had only a few months to mold the new-look Knicks into a contender. He said D'Antoni was "patient" during that process. "We came a long way, especially when I first got here, with the expectations being so high so quickly," Anthony said. But when asked if possible front office changes would hurt the team, he didn't exactly say no. "As far as that goes, I really don't know if it would set things back," he said. "What it would bring, I really don't know how to answer that question. If we can keep everybody here that'd be great, something that we can build on with the guys that we have here," he added.

I wonder if Amare wants Melo back is the question.....

Amare can't play D... D'Antoni can't teach it... they're a match made in heaven!

The team will return next year intact and push for the second round or better.

Signing a center during the offseason should put them in position to make it past the first round.

McGhee from Washington has some interest... but, don't think he's reliable.

He wants him back because dandummy dont make him play defense

QUOTE(#12):

They will be fine together. You had a hard time getting them so why do you want to give up on one of them so fast. I'd recommend getting rid of the coach. You asked a question yesterday which was a good one. If Dumbtonie is such a great offensive coach then why are the Knicks struggling on offense?

They're not struggling anymore

You obviously haven't been watching the Knicks to have made a statement like that.

I just watched 4 games in a row... I didn't see any D that impressed me at all.

Bc its the playoffs and they are having to play with Toney Douglas as a starting PG instead of Billups....Hell they play two guys that shouldnt even be any higher than 9th ot 10th men on the bench (Williams & Jefferies).....Also they are played a BETTER team....

Nah they will both stay and we need them both. The Knicks need to get some quality players around those 2. I expect the Knicks to go after a PG and a center this off season.
