08:22 AM ET 04.27 | "It was a rough few days," Roberto Luongo admitted after the Canucks could exhale, but Henrik Sedin spoke from another place. Sure, the Canucks took the extra long way home to clinch the opening-round series. But after two years of watching the Blackhawks celebrate a second-round victory, Vancouver rejoiced and exorcised their postseason demons with a 2-1 overtime victory over the Stanley Cup champions in Game 7 on Tuesday. They advance to the next round against the Nashville Predators. ... The Canucks move onto the next round knowing that they were the better team in this series. They just had difficulty closing the deal. "We were the better team for five games," Canucks captain Henrik Sedin said. "They had no business being in this series. We made it tough on ourselves."

Ya cause there's another one coming and you've been exposed.

The Sedin's had no business being in Game 7.

Oh wait, they weren't!

April 27, 2011  09:01 AM ET

After Burrows goal, they celebrated like they won the Cup. Henrik Sedin and some other guy jumped into each others arms jumping up and down, everyone fell to the ground in a big pile...jeez, you are only 1/4 of the way there.

Did anyone else think Luongo looked a little shaky? He seemed to be fighting the puck. The Hawks just ran out of gas and couldn't get anything going.

If the Sedin's couldn't show up against Bolland, I can't wait to see them against Weber and Suter. Weber is gonna introduce the sisters to the glass.

I'm going to predict a Detroit vs Vancouver semifinal.

April 27, 2011  09:08 AM ET

Karma Train, please hit the Canucks in the Nashville series.

Wings over Sharks in 5.
Haven't decided the other series yet, but I'm gonna go Preds over 'Nucks in 6.

Seriously? There's a freight train comin Vancouver and your foot is caught in the tracks...Weber and company are gonna leave Canuck body parts on the ice.

QUOTE(#16):

Game 7, overtime win and you don't expect them to celebrate? Come on Argos, I'm not a Nucks fan, but any team in the league would have been going bonkers in that situation.

I expect some hugs, but they were hugging each other and jumping up and down like a teen age girl. They celebrated like they won the Cup, thats all. I think it is a little much.

Any thoughts on Lucic hit?

I don't think he gets suspended because we are heading into Game 7, but if the Bruins won and there was no Game 7, or even if tonights game was Game 6, Lucic would have been given 1 game.

I concur.

Mind you they came very close to losing it all in the perfect way.

A dominant game kept close by the opposing goalie. Robooby made a couple of big saves. Even Heimlich Von Kesler showed up.

But then Toews on sheer grit gets a tying goal very late.

Then Burrows takes that penalty to start OT and you KNEW the fans expected the worst. Sharp had the chance but couldn't put it away.

Way closer than they expected.

I was looking for the thread where we made our predictions earlier and couldn't find it.

I took Canucks to win but would have gladly seen Chicago take that series (of course).

Now we will get to see The O'Brien play his old team. I predict big things.

The B's are the better team but they just keep helping Montreal along by taking stupid penalties and being impotent on the PP.

He took a pretty good run to make the hit as well. I'm not going to guess about discipline as Spacek did return but you never know.

No suspension = conspiracy against Canadian teams by American Broadcast Networks.

Rivaling The Pens for PP futility.
