08:06 AM ET 04.27 | Some have called the Spurs old, but Antonio McDyess has another unkind word for his team. It's difficult to know what to make of them, as they teeter on the edge of one of the greatest playoff pratfalls in NBA history. On his way out of FedEx Forum, veteran center Antonio McDyess had one idea. "We're playing like a bunch of wussies," McDyess said. That analysis wasn't meet with much disagreement, not after the Grizzlies pummeled the Spurs 56-36 in the second half to assume a 3-1 series lead. ... For the first time this postseason, the game did not go down to the final possession. Memphis would not let it. Appearing to take their first halftime deficit of the series as a personal affront, the Grizzlies scored the first 14 points of the second half to grab the series by the jugular.

It's all about matchups - and this one is about as bad a matchup as the Spurs could have expected. Across the board...

The word "soft" comes to mind.

I think the Spurs are going to win game 5 at home. The real test will be their final road game in game 6. The Griz don't want it to go to a game 7 in San Antonio.

Did you see how haggard Pop looked on the sidelines? The Spurs are done. There won't be a Kobe-bein'-Kobe moment.

Completely agree. I thought for sure they'd be in the WCF but it looks like game 6 and done will likely be it for SA. Btw mma, great first half by redick last night. If you would have told me pre game that Howard would have 8 and 8 I'd assume they were done for. Hopefully they can take game 6 and make it interesting.

Hi MC!That's what makes the Magic such a strange team. They never win the same way. It's always something different with them. All season I've wanted to see them hit on all cylinders but it's always like this. The bottom line is they need their shots to go in. I think Atlanta was softer on D last night. Game 6 will be crucial.

Yea, they certainly are a schizo team at times but redick playing early is the right move and I've been saying it all series. Atl relies on it's athleticism and that doesn't fair well for jrich at times but they let redick have his shot which is foolish. Good luck to your boys in game 6
