08:16 AM ET 04.28 | Rehab, unfortunately, hasn't gone quickly for Kendrys Morales. Morales, whose recovery from a broken left ankle has been much slower than the team anticipated, was scheduled to be examined by Dr. Phil Kwong, a foot and ankle specialist, Wednesday afternoon. Manager Mike Scioscia said Morales had not run for several days "to allow more recovery days after his running." Morales has been doing agility drills and defensive work, but until he runs the bases at full speed he will not begin a minor league rehabilitation assignment. "We'll get some direction," Scioscia said of the examination. "If he's able to stay in baseball activities, he'll make the trip [to Tampa Bay and Boston] with us" to continue his rehabilitation.

This sucks with the way our overpaid free agent (Wells) aquisition is playing we need Morales back and quick. Our offense needs a bopper.

I Apologize to Everyone for Kendry breaking his leg / ankle last season...

I traded Adrian Gonzalez straight up for him 3 days before it happened last season...

It's the Curse of my Fantasy Squad :-)

the best thing and a wise thing to do for the angels is just keep morales out of basball activities for the rest of the year there is no need for this franchise to reinjury this elite player, who knows the angels may have to re do the surgery again maybe those screws the ones were use on morales ankle are faked and are unable to hold up morales weight!!!

mark trumbo has been doing great job at firstbase, its not like he its unable to hit this player can become a big bat and good RBI productive on the angels lineup all what the halos really need now its be patience and discipline at the plate this franchise should know better they do not have any pression from the fans and from the owner

go angels.....
go rays..........
go braves................
go royals.................

April 28, 2011  08:11 PM ET

the halos need to get some players through trades as far i can see there its not another option available for the angels not even one!!!

April 28, 2011  08:25 PM ET

the surgeon may need to replace those screws on morales ankle with a silver ones or perhaps the may have to be 18k gold material who knows maybe that's the whole problem and the angels just can't find the right answer!!!

I think he should be at best a 2nd half DH this year. He severely broke that ankle
