07:27 AM ET 04.30 | In what might have been a last-ditch effort to get something, anything, out of Andris Biedrins and the $27 million owed him over the next three seasons, the Warriors met with their center Thursday afternoon. In a two-hour chat with Biedrins and his agent, Bill Duffy, Warriors general manager Larry Riley outlined a complete physical and mental training program for Biedrins to follow this summer.

This is the best fit for Dwight Howard.
Dwight on the Warriors would make them an instant contender for many years to come.
Just don't take SVG with you.

It would be the same team as the magic...A bunch of jumpshooters that dont play defense.....

You know. Your previous post tells me all I need to know about your BBall IQ.
Curry > Nelson
Ellis > J Rich
Wright > Turk
Lee > Bass
This group also plays much better defense because they can stand in front of their man. Having a small back court means nothing if the other team can't post them up, and with DH back there guarding the rim. It would be foolish to try and post Curry or Ellis.
Don't make silly statements for the sake of arguing.

What is your BBall IQ?
Im not saying they wouldnt be better on offense....They would be a beast....But the Warriors are HORRIBLE on defense...Now you say at least they can stay in front of their guy? Really is that why they were giving up 106 points a game....Really? Lord you are stupid....

The Heat weren't supposed to get Lebron either. Things happen.
Who said anything thing about a trade? I am talking free agent. Not a trade.

Biedrins and that contract are just another in a long list of blunders by the Warriors. He's been in the league 6 years now. If he were bringing anything to the party, we'd have seen it by now. He's a career 7 ppg player--he's a decent rebounder. but at best he's a $9 million backup.

Dude; if Dwight leaves Orlando, it will be to chase a ring. There is not a chance in hell he would sign on to a building project.

Admirable words. But as long as Lebron and Dwade are in the East, he is not getting to the finals unless he goes West.
On offense, for DH style of play. Inside out or outside in, pick and roll or pick and pop with Lee having a true PG who can shoot, pass and penetrate like Curry is perfect for DH.
Lee is the perfect compliment because he can hit mid range jumpers, and rebound.
Ellis is the perfect slasher/scorer for a short clock.
And Wright will definitely keep the floor spread and you just can't chase him off the line because he can score going towards the basket.
The only thing the Warriors need is a center like DH to anchor that defense and reb.
On defense, as long as Curry and Ellis keep their man in front of them and don't allow dribble penetration, they would be fine on defense. They already rank high on the list for steals. They have more than enough quickness to guard the perimeter, but they don't have size for the paint. DH would take care of the paint 120%.
The current Warriors with DH would be instant contenders out west. And DH would have a shot at a ring every year.

Did anyone see Lebron going to Miami???
Well I don't think we should rule out GS for DH.
If DH is telling the truth about winning. GS is just as good as any of those other teams if you put DH at center. But if he stays in the east he won't be back in the finals.
